The Sunday Times have teamed up with G Adventures and are offering a prize draw competition for a lucky person to win an India Rail Trip around North East India and Darjeeling.
The Prize.

A two-week tour of northeast India and Darjeeling by train. Tour with G Adventures and itinerary including;
You’ll start off in vibrant Kolkata before boarding an overnight train to New Jalpaiguri, then travelling by private transfer to Darjeeling via Kalimpong and Gangtok. There’ll be plenty of chances to jump out and get a taste of the local food and culture, from Gangtok’s Mumtek Monastery to the Tukvar tea estate in Darjeeling.
From Darjeeling, it’s all-aboard the famous ‘toy train’ on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, which winds its way through lush hilltop towns to Kurseong. You’ll have some free time to explore the markets in Siliguri, before travelling by train and road to India’s ‘spiritual capital’ Varanasi, on the banks of the Ganges.
